Playing the guitar since the age of 13, I discovered my love for the classical guitar while studying abroad in Florence, Italy during my college years. I hold a B.A. in Fine Arts from Monmouth College and am currently earning my Masters in Landscape Architecture from The University of Minnesota.
The classical guitar is a wonderful choice for your wedding ceremony, dinner, private party or whatever event you may hold. It offers a wide variety of beautiful music from Classical and Spanish to modern arrangements. I am located in Minneapolis, Minnesota and will perform in the Twin Cities area, as well as others within reason.
Wedding Ceremony
A typical ceremony includes
- The Prelude
- The Wedding Party’s Processional
- The Bride’s Processional
- The Interlude
- The Recessional
- The Postlude
I will work with you or any other participating musicians to choose the best music for your special day.
I begin the prelude 15 minutes before the ceremony and play 15 minutes after, during the postlude, to add to the atmosphere for the arriving and departing guests.
A wedding ceremony is $300. I am also available for additional playing time for either the cocktail hour and/or dinner. This is an additional $100 per hour.
Other Events
Private parties, Art Showings, Dinners, Cocktail Parties, etc. These are all great venues for the delicate sound of a classical guitar. These also typically run $300, depending on the duration of the event. Prices can be discussed.
My setup is very unobtrusive consisting of a guitar, music stand and small amplifier.
